Film Screening: Salud!

Join us for a film screening of Salud! to to raise funds for critical medical supplies and aid to alleviate the brutal suffocation of the US embargo, and the Trump administration’s escalating threats against the island.
The documentary “Salud!” showcases the massive achievements of Cuba’s healthcare system, persevering with its model where healthcare is an intrinsic right, not a privatised service tiered towards the rich. Around most of the world, millions suffer and die as a result of privatised healthcare systems.
Cuba offers a different model, one in which free healthcare is accessible to all, while offering training to doctors from oppressed countries around the world and sending tens of thousands of Cuban doctors globally to nations facing healthcare crises. Join us to watch and discussed “Salud!” and learn more about how you can support the Asstata Shakur Cuban Solidarity Brigade.
There will be snacks and sweet treats available on a pay what you can, donation basis.
